UNION is a thriller that unfolds in a gentrified neighborhood in Los Angeles. But most of the film takes place in… a car’s trunk. A young couple—Janna and Justin—is robbed and then locked in their trunk once the robber discovers their car has a manual transmission, and he can’t steal it, because he can’t drive Stick-shift…
In the darkness of the trunk, Janna and Justin must face some hard truths about their relationship. Their intensifying argument draws in a stranger who has the ability to save them. But the couple learns quickly that their potential savior is no saint. Actually, he makes their predicament worse.
