The Pantone color of the year 2020 is “honest,” the brand writes in its announcement. It’s “imprinted in our psyches as a restful color,” and “suggestive of the sky at dusk.” More specifically, that translates to PANTONE 19-4052, or Classic Blue. This is a shade that offers calm and refuge at a time when chaos seems surrounding. In other words, it’s ideal to have in a home.

Just as dusk looks different whether you’re in Marrakech or Miami, the homewares here run the gamut of Pantone’s pick. They might skew a bit more royal, or robin’s egg, but as the old saying goes, a rising Classic Blue tide lifts all blueish boats.

Below, 12 ways to add the color of the year to your place (and hopefully feel a bit of the peace that comes with). All products featured on Vogue are independently selected by our editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission.
